The group draw for the CS:GO Championship Series Kick-off Season has taken place, with the eight participants having been drawn into two groups of four teams.

PENTA Sports and FlipSid3 Tactics secured last weekend the last two places in the $110,000 league, in which they will join six other teams, invited by PGL.

Each group will feature a double-elimination format, with the group winners automatically advancing to the offline finals, scheduled for April 24-26 at DreamHack Bucharest.

The remaining six participants will duke it out in a last-chance stage to determine the last two teams that will make it to the season finals.
